Kajian-kajian terhadap al-Qur’an telah banyak dilakukan oleh para ulama sejak awal perkembangan agama Islam sampai saat ini. Tapi ada beberapa tafsir yang tidak mendapat porsi kajian yang seharusnya, seperti kitab-kitab tafsir modern terkini, tafsir klasik yang baru selesai ditahqiq, tafsir di berbagai negara yang menggunakan bahasa non Arab. Juga menghimpun tafsir-tafsir yang ditulis untuk menjelaskan tafsir yang lain, atau dikenal dengan nama Hasyiyah. Kitab-kitab tafsir dalam Jam’ul Abiir disusun secara periodik mulai abad pertama sampai abad lima belas hijiryah berdasarkan tahun wafat sang mufassir dengan tujuan memberi gambaran secara runtut tentang perkembangan tafsir dan corak serta metodologi yang dominan di era tersebut. Sistematika pengurutan seperti ini juga membantu mengetahui thabaqat para mufassir sepanjang sejarah Islam. Ada beberapa tafsir yang unik yang dikaji dalam kitab jam’ul Abiir, tafsir-tasfir ini sebagian jarang diketahui orang karena peredarannya terbatas atau tingkat kebutuhan terhadap tafsir-tafsir ini tidak terlalu besar. Diantaranya adalah tafsir-tafsir karya ulama’ perempuan, tafsir nuzuli, tafsir tanya jawab dan nadham-nadham tafsir, tafsir Tanpa Huruf Mu’jam (Bertitik). Kitab Jam’ul Abiir yang disusun ini, mempunyai tujuan utama menegaskan bahwa al-Qur’an telah menjadi pusat kajian di berbagai belahan dunia sejak abad pertama sampai sekarang.
Abstract
Studies of the Qur’an have been carried out by many scholars since the beginning of the development of Islam to the present day. But there are some interpretations that do not get the proper portion of the study, such as the latest modern tafsir books, classical interpretations that have just finished being interpreted in various countries that use non-Arabic languages. Jugq collects commentaries written to explain other interpretations, otherwise known as Hashiyah. The tafseer books in Jam’ul Abiir were compiled periodically from the first century to the fifteenth century hijiryah based on the year the mufassir died with the aim of providing a coherent description of the development of the interpretation and style and methodology dominant in that era. Ordering systematics like this also helps to find out the thabaqat of the commentators throughout Islamic history. There are several unique interpretations studied in the book of jam’ul Abiir, some of these tafsirs are rarely known to people because of their limited circulation or the level of need for these interpretations is not too great. Among them are the interpretations of the ulama’s work ‘ women, tafsir nuzuli, interpretation of questions and answers and nadham-nadham tafsir, tafsir Without the letters Mu’jam (dotted). The book of Jam’ul Abiir, which was compiled, has the main purpose of confirming that the Qur’an has been the center of study in various parts of the world since the first century until now.
