Veve Zulfikar terpilih sebagai Santri Inspiratif Bidang Seni & Budaya Santri of The Year 2018


Surabaya. Terpilih sebagai Santri Inspiratif Bidang Seni & Budaya dalam Penganugerahan Santri of The Year 2018, Veve Zulfikar mengalahkan Nissa Sabyan dan Sharla.

Dari jumlah 13.308 voters, Qiro’ah bernama lengkap Veryal Eisha Aqila ini mendapat 41 % dengan 5.476 pemilih. Disusul urutan kedua, Khoirunnisa atau Nissa’ Sabyan mendapatkan 4.835 votes/ 36 %. Sedangkan Syarla Martiza dari Jombang di urutan ke 3 mendapat 2.997 votes/ 23 %.

Selain hadir menerima langsung penghargaan Santri of The Year 2018, Veve Zulfikar juga menyumbangkan lagu di acara yang digelar di Gedung Sport Center UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya ini.

Tahun 2017 lalu, kategori Santri Inspiratif bidang Seni & Budaya diberikan kepada pelantun shalawat Habib Syekh Assegaf.

Veve Zulfikar lahir di Jombang, Tahun 2003. Putri sulung pasangan Miqdar Zulfikar dan Riza Fitriatus Zahro.

Santri kreatif yang memiliki hobi  mengaji dan bersalawat sejak kecil, pernah mengenyam  di Ponpes Miftahul Mubtadiin Krempyang Nganjuk Jawa Timur. Cita-cita remaja yang aktif di IPPNU ini adalah ingin bisa mengajak seluruh anak muda untuk kembali mencintai budaya mengaji dan salawatan.

Keahlian qiraah dan melantunkan shalawat tidak jarang dibagi di media sosial seperti YouTube dan Instagram. Followers yang cukup banyak dapat berpengaruh positif bagi anak-anak muda zaman ini.

Acara yang digelar Islam Nusantara Center (INC) bersama UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya ini juga dihadiri banyak tokoh santri dan pengurus NU dan beberapa pejabat tinggi. Khususnya tokoh-tokoh yang mendapat penghargaan.
